Today we delivered an Angel Christmas Tree to the British Embassy in Athens. Lieutenant Christos Leveniotis and Lieutenant Magda Leveniotis met the British Ambassador Matthew Lodge and Mrs Lodge as we unveiled the Tree.
The Angel Tree includes cards with a child’s name whom we are aware of through our Corps Ministry. Staff at the Embassy who wish to participate will take a card and buy a present for the child whose name is on the card.
The Salvation Army in Greece believes every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas. The Salvation Army Angel Tree will help to provide gifts for thirty children in our community.
